Akita Fight

Akita FightI have a friend who has a pit bull that got into a fight with an Akita?

and both are about four years. and all, since their fight
pit bull fear of Akita. Normally they get along well.
Is an Akita dog stronger and more aggressive than the pit bull?
They are both male.

By shying away from the pit is respectful to the Akita. This will help maintain peace, but they can not be "friends" again.

Akitas are known for their protective nature and potentially viscious if not treated properly. Thus, it isn't unusual for an Akita fighting with other dogs if not socialized properly.

Search for two races.
You'll find your "friend" response.

Akita won the fight. gained a dominant position. He is now the man to dominate the pit bull.

Akita fighting like a wolf. most dogs are intimidated by the breed type Wolf. they are "gods" in dogs, as all breeds of dogs are wolves. it's really hard to believe when you look at a "weenie" dog breeds and other so. lol.

They are positioning themselves for dominance. Now, if either the owner had control of these dogs, this would not happen. But I fear that the statistical odds are that they are allowed to communicate with each other, finally, we will kill the other.

Akita can be very aggressive.
One of my friends had a huge Akita male who tore the calf muscle off of a thief. He had just done over the fence. Later, they found him in the hospital.
His famale Akita is almost as large as the male and has killed several dogs and made four dobbies literally climb the walls of their house trying to get back inside.
Two were perched on window ledges trying to return home.
But these dogs were the sweetest dogs you ever want around the house.
It really depends on the dog, but obvisoulsy Akitas can be very protective.

Is an interesting question. I have two beautiful purebred Akitas, when I read on this subject. What you call "shying away" is really a way to maintain normal canines have a stable hierarchy.

Akitas were originally used in Japan as hunting dogs. When Westerners arrived, the Japanese people learned about pit bulls, and I tried to reproduce the Akita larger dogs more aggressive to compete with pit bulls in the West. Their attempt failed, because pit bulls have been used in the fight against competition for a long period, and some years of farming can overcome centuries of breeding. The pit bull akita beat the average mean in a fair fight the Japanese people have learned.

With Akitas, like huskies, chows and other dogs Nordic, it is important to know the pecking order, so they are willing to fight. It seems that the Akita won this time, and has emerged as the leader of this little pack of two.

It is important now that they have worked on this, that you treat the Akita as the leader of the pack. When two dogs are together, feed them first and give it the attention first. It seems unfair, because humans are socialized differently, but it is much better for dogs. If you raise the pit bull and reduce the Akita, they start thinking they are almost equal to new, so they will continue to fight to see who is boss. It is better that they both know their place in relation to others, and the two dogs will be happier knowing their place in the field from the feeling most uncomfortable for an Akita is to be equal.

Akitas are a care and protection of race, in the blood. They are not necessarily dogs. If teased, Akita one can bite. They are capable of ferocity.

When the pit bull breeds are not good guard, they were bred to fight against other dogs. So they are not very dogs.
