Boxing For Beginners

Boxing For BeginnersWhat are the best Muay Thai boxing gloves beginners?

I took my fist class last night but forgot to ask who I should get gloves. I am a woman of average height - 5'7, 155 lbs.

Just need them for training at this time. Using heavy gloves and bad.

For beginners, get 12 oz gloves If you decide to start the competition, buy a pair of gloves 16 oz, so u can get used to heavier. Once you do, your speed will increase significantly, while wearing gloves smaller. So, you want to buy a set of hand / wrist wraps. The more the better. You must also purchase a pair of shin guards. You can buy all this for cheap on www.amazon.com. I put a link allowing you to see the style shin guards would be good for you too.

you still want heavy gloves for training (16 ounces). This way once you remove the gloves your hands are faster and you do more damage. when you use heavy gloves to hit your muscles build faster and you start slow so you can get good technique.

Get 16 ounces boxing / sparring gloves .... just ask 16oz gloves

These are the most versatile, you can hit them with pads & Spar. You can also choose 12 oz if you want a smaller / lighter gloves if you will not be sparring. Most want 16 oz sparring partners

Your first course was last night I would not be worried about geting used for 16 ounces, use gloves 14 oz gloves and i cannot say different when I take 16 oz 14 oz are smaller by a little metal.
