Cung Le (born May 25, 1972) is a Vietnamese American kickboxer, mixed martial arts actor and San Jose, California. It has been the Strikeforce Middleweight Champion before resigning to pursue his acting career.
Cung Le was born in Saigon, South Vietnam. He fled his homeland with his mother in 1975, the city fell to communist rule (reportedly fled in a helicopter under fire from machine guns). He graduated from San Jose, California, where racial intimidation inspired to start learning to fight. Her mother enrolled her in taekwondo classes at age 10 years. Since those early classes, he absorbed a wide variety of styles, and was undefeated as a professional kick (16-0).
