Fight High Blood Sugar

Fight High Blood SugarStable blood sugar is the key to longevity
Like most people you probably never gave your blood glucose in the blood of a second and it used to be that diabetics should worry about their blood sugar, but no more. Our busy modern lifestyle may well make us susceptible to a nasty chronic disease that is increasingly prevalent in our world.

New research shows that one in four of us have pre-diabetes and do not even know it, and if current trends continue, one in three of us will be diagnosed with diabetes in our lives. People who feel tired or lethargic during the day, who are slightly overweight or who have irregular schedules and stressful eating habits could be fighting high blood sugar cycles and, possibly, be sensitive to type 2 diabetes.

Diabetes currently affects 246 million people worldwide and is expected to touch 380 million in 2025 and is the fourth leading cause of death worldwide by the disease. The life expectancy of people affected by diabetes is lower almost fifteen years compared to people who are not affected by diabetes and is therefore a serious health problem.

If you are overweight (especially around the abdomen), feeling tired all the time or become a slave to cravings and riding a roller coaster of hunger every day it may be time to make a detour the road you're on. Your lifestyle choices can help prevent diabetes or put you at greater risk for it.

The solution is fairly simple to follow a lifestyle that helps control sugar levels in the blood is one and the same we should all follow. It should include an appropriate exercise program that includes at least 60% of resistance exercise and diabetes is the most powerful defense available.

To prevent or even cure diabetes the most important things are (1) to maintain blood sugar levels under control, and (2) to improve the sensitivity of cells in your body to insulin. Strength training does both these things better than any other form of exercise.

How?

? By increasing the amount of muscle toning. The muscle is the primary fabric in the body that makes blood sugar, so the more muscle you have, the more you can erase your blood sugar and better control your blood sugar will be.

? By increasing the amount of blood flow to muscles, which allows more glucose to be delivered to tissues that can take and use for energy.

? The muscle cells become more sensitive to the effects of insulin when toned by exercise strength training. This allows muscle cells to clear sugar from the bloodstream more efficiently at lower levels of insulin. This resistance to insulin sensitivity to insulin increases and decreases. .

? By reducing the levels of abdominal body fat, the type of fat that leads to greater risks of health and increases insulin resistance

In other words, exercise improves the ability of strength training your body to control blood sugar and insulin response to every step possible in the process. And what are the key to help prevent diabetes.

Complete your workout with 4-6 small meals spread throughout the day every 2-3 hours. These small meals should contain a source of protein and the balance of ideal meal should consist of vegetables. Try to avoid processed foods and use natural products as much as possible. Eating this way keeps your blood sugar stable, can tame the hunger, prevent overeating and maintain high levels of energy to sustain your exercise program.

No damage that leads to diabetes and other chronic lifestyle that happens overnight. Some changes in your lifestyle such as better diet and exercise will keep you on a sound and make you feel more alert, alive and energetic immediately.
