It is seldom you find a balanced article deals with Muslim women in the United States in terms of the relationship of race and assimilation theories, however, I have written several articles on women articlesbase to show the marriage patterns , honor killing, polygamy and poliginy and women defending Prophet of Islam and Muslims to give new light on the legacy of Islam as a religion and lifestyle. I also recently contributed to youtube views repackaging Orientals "about Muhammad and his marriages. I found this article about my professional words. So I decided to give the opportunity to improve learning and understanding.
Muslim women in America often face discrimination from their own Muslim community. Discrimination by Muslims primarily the result of ignorance about Islam and the importation of cultural attitudes that demean women. Islam is often interpreted as sexist and inconsistent with the true teachings of equality in the Quran and the model provided by the Prophet Muhammad. Samer Hathout is a young sociologist Muslims who understand Islam and social theories in terms of race relations and the position of minority groups in developing and developed countries. I'll let the readers here to read his article in abeyance with Overviews chip, I believe, shed light on Islam and Muslims in general and Muslim women in particular. I share it with the same thoughts, and we're both on the river itself in terms of the need to understand before you judge wrongly, the Muslim women. This article comes while in France, a woman covered her head with a scarf, was interviewed in the French parliament and accused of violating the rules of the Constitution, which was made hundreds of years for men who are used to cover their heads with hats. Misunderstanding of the Muslim heritage using Hijab needs more articles to make possible understanding between cultures. In fact, in my book: Crescentology, Theory C. management of conflict and the culture of standardization, (2008), I stressed knowledge is the basic ingredient of our theory, which follows the understanding, appreciation and then compromise and live in peace. This article (even if submitted in September 7th, 1995 at an international conference convened in China), it is still relevant today after the shooting by Major Nidal Hasan Malik, who happened to be an Arab Muslim American) I think it is one of the cornerstone of knowledge and understanding. I will discuss the challenges facing American Muslim women. As a minority in the United States, Muslims are facing many challenges. ignorance, first and foremost on Islam. This ignorance leads to stereotypes, fear and mistrust. The acts of a few extremist Muslims are attributed to all Muslims. Muslim loyalty of American citizens in the United States is questioned. We are dehumanized and therefore an easy target for prejudice. For example, last April, the federal building in Oklahoma City was bombed. It is probably the most devastating terrorist act from occurring on American soil. A few hundred people were killed and hundreds more have been wounded. He was particularly brutal because there was a nursery on one of the lower floors of this building. Once the report of the attack emerged, the first suspects were Muslims. Once the building was bombed, the news, said: "Arab people looking were seen leaving the scene." Basically, for twenty-four hours, we have faced harassment, we were threatened, and our lives have been worm.
