Kids Martial Arts Classes

Kids Martial Arts ClassesHow much should I charge for children martial arts classes?

I'm starting a mini-martial arts class in Boston MA. Does anyone know how much I charge? I decided to teach a class one hour on Saturday morning.

One hour one day a week should be pretty cheap.

I would like to offer, as sessions during 8 weeks for $ 65.

If you were open every day, or six days a week, so I charge more.

The less flexibility, less you can charge.

It also depends on your credentials.

Jacques

I wonder how many other schools first charge.

80-100 dollars per month. More uniform. And the option to purchase equipment such as personal as you are using, the combat vehicles, etc.

This is a business Decison really. You have to anticipate demand and price points and then decide if you want the volume at a lower price or fewer students at a higher price.

Also you mentioned nothing of your credentials. The more accomplished you are, the more you can load.

Check to see what other school fees, because you have to be competitive. In addition, your experiance and qualifications will determine party. I feel that this is a troll question. if not sorry.

Search the market you are competing in. take the price of each competitor (or a friend do it, if you want to remain incognito) and create a graph of the number of classes they offer and what their rate is.

Then put in place where you are in the mix. There are other factors you might consider as the main instructor experience compared to yours, curb appeal "of your business to compete and so on.

Price can be a very complex strategy that takes time to establish stability. If you're starting, you may want to charge a lower rate and encourage circulation. If your statement has the quality, word of mouth will generate more business. When classes fill, adjust the rates accordingly.

But, above all ...

Make sure you load, you can pay your bills.

Much depends on your motivation for doing so.

I charge $ 1 in a class and teach one course per week. Mine is set up a community outreach program with a local church. Being able to transmit the art of those who normally could not afford, it is MY motivation.

If you are looking at what the extension of a business, then I would factor in what your competitors are in charge, and how rich / poor is the area you are drawing students.

I'd say $ 20 per month $ 5 dollars a class I use for my teaching in Boston too

I need more info what type of martial arts? this age group? where in Boston? What type of neighborhood? for fun or profit? Class must be at lease 2 hours when they extend

Good luck

First the answer to that is universal. You must charge enough to cover the cost of your operations. You should not make a profit of martial arts. When it becomes something for profit, it becomes corrupted.
Secondly, you should be teaching your students all at once, you should not be separated by age or rank, that defeats the whole purpose, which will they turn for example.
Thirdly, one hour a week is not going to teach them something, it will give them a false confidence.

The martial arts should not be about money, they should be people who try to improve. A price can be placed on this point. Any person who makes a profit from teaching martial arts is to "sell" their art, not teaching. If it offends someone then maybe they need to analyze what they do.

1 hour per week is not much ... identity card for free to teach .... but i cannot put up with serious practitioners and no am not a Techer my car .. Although I learned a little ... shhhhh dont tell anyone
