Hello i want to know "Drunken Boxing", but no signs that style? How come? Hi this may seem like a joke to you but I'm serious. I already know Karate / Kickboxing & Tiger style. I did some Reasearch to find a boxing school drunk, but it is not? Why? Thank you.
I'm pretty sure that is the specialty of Jacky Chan if that helps any
drunken boxing is long forgotten .....
No sooner people can learn more because most teachers were monks of the temple Xiaolin
Many schools teach Wushu boxing drunken forms, because it is very expressive, try searching for schools of Wushu not drunk boxing schools. Wushu Kung Fu is not traditional, but do not expect to see real applications or even the authentic style.
Depending on your location (or access to funds), you could go to school Lau Family Hung Gar Kung Fu, Hong Kong. They teach the forms there is also drunk and perhaps the best traditional kung fu schools available. Lau Kar Leung is the Sigung at school (he teaches no more though) is the famous actor / director of the Shaw Brothers film, he recently starred in the film "Drunken Monkey" (I think also ordered that one.) They do Kung Fu vacation packages so you can go for one week or even months to learn what you want.
drunken boxing?
Is this the same as Drunken Fist? If so I think it would be extremely small chance to find one unless you are in China or who knows you might come across a mysterious old man walking through the streets of America etc.Good of Luck
Shaolin Wushu Drunken Boxing teaches. I suggest you find a local Shaolin "temple" as they call it. It is usually just one room school gym where I live. We are trained by master Shaolin Shaolin Wushu real Guan and if they had a Xibit where they showed their style combat drunk.
Gong Fu style. They also San Da (San Shou).
Because the people of the West in general has no respect for Eastern culture. Westerns just want a quick, easy. GUN. Pretty stupid and ignorant when it comes to value and culture.
There are a few schools that teach Drunken Boxing.
The question is whether or not there is a school near you who does.
ibuchanan - you and I share the same feeling for the Master Lau Kar Leung. It is amazing.
Well, it's not an easy martial art to master and despite the fact that it looks good, few people think it's really effective. You will probably find in China, but very little or not at all in America.
Please not that there are two kinds of Drunken Boxing, traditional and contemporary. Drunken Boxing is the traditional control-oriented. Contemporary Wushu Drunken Boxing is acrobatic and is very different from the traditional drunken boxing. Contemporary Wushu exaggerates appeared drunk, so that any person who under the influence of alcohol would have a difficult time implementing such actions. Drunken Boxing also involves traditional stumbling and staggering, but not to such an extreme that contemporary Wushu Drunken Boxing that has no actual connection to traditional forms in Drunken Boxing.
It may interest you to know that certain styles Lie Fut Choy Fu and Monkey Kunfi and some other Chinese martial arts have been drunk.
I can not help you with the drunken boxing other than to say he is the school she teaches.
Otherwise, you must say that you know, the other arts. It is impossible. You may have received training in them, but it is impossible for you to have mastered. I do not even use the term master. It takes a lifetime to really learn martial arts. I saw many people do a kata. But they do not know the kata. They can perform the basic movements in the kata.
Go.
