I want to train in mixed martial arts at a local place, how do I tell my parents? I want to train in mixed martial arts at a local place, how can I tell my parents I want to train in mixed martial arts in a place local jiu-jitsu. Fortunately, its only about 3 blocks. How do I tell my parents that I want to take something that involves fighting? This is not about money it's just that I do not want my parents think I'm kind of obsessed boy crazy fight. I mean I've always loved fighting throughout my life, even when I was a small child and they know it. They laugh because my grandfather likes to do these things too, but how do I tell them? My parents are very calm about things, but I want in a non-embarrassing to say. Thank you for any suggestions!
just tell them that you want to train to get a little fitter and learn something of self-defense in case arrives. Also tell them that you teach self defense and respect.
just ask them straight ... or be like watching a movie fight with your parents and tell them that it would be really cool to fight like that ....
Try your grandfather. Ask him to try to convince your parents for advice.
Also, you can say you want to fight, but the school does not have wrestling team or wrestling team is complete. jiu jitsu is very similar to the fight. So if you say you want to do as an alternative to the fight, your parents will feel like you just want to play sports. This is to start.
Hey buddy heres how to get involved in NHB, first you can not just jump in and Say Yeah im a NHB fighter, starting at the base, either by fighting for your high school team, or start over the BJJ school near you it gives you a branch to work from, ask your bjj really good competition and a lot, I wouldnt recommend a NHB event at least waist high blue or purple , training, after a while you have something to bring to the table BJJ / NHB School, cons if your a beginner and you just walk into school and expect to get nhb regarding the departure, Respect is earned if the hard work and if you do not have the experince will be much harder for you to do your level = BJJ will push the other guys and everything, you can work on your boxing or Thai boxing but, first and foremost learn to fight on the ground of his must be one. I had the same problem that my mother was not on me pumped to go home with some cuts and bruises, but if its something you think you are really passionate and I do not see it as a problem , to break it to you are there to learn BJJ martial art, it is more gentle with the parents in this way
When you say your parents are relaxed do you mean they are very anti-violence "and you already think they'll object? As a parent, what you say, do not complain and do a logical well thought out case to present. Does this school apply self-discipline, control, respect? If money is no question, that's fine. Can you go to the school of your own so that their time to take you back and also not be a problem, or can you work with them. Call the school and ask them questions. Let them know your parents might hesitate and listen to what they say. Make and appointment with the school and visit with your parents. They might be pleasantly surprised.
Hey Dad, I've started the martial arts can tell you mom ya.as see you leave at the door. daughter / father you have in the bag.
assuming your not opposed girl.if a son / mother.
If you are under no respectable school is going to allow you to train without permission from their parents. So go ask them not just to the door and say, as some say. it is a trial that had to happen.
