There is already a small tourism industry in place to build. The official and national sport of Pakistan is field hockey, cricket is more popular. The national cricket team won the Cricket World Cup once in 1992, were finalists again in 1999 and co hosted the Games twice in 1987 and 1996. Pakistan is also ready to welcome the cooperation of 2011 Cricket World Cup, with Sri Lanka, India and Bangladesh.
