Marine Corps Martial Arts Program vs. Modern Combatives Army? I read that there are two different techniques of combat in the U.S. Armed Forces: Modern Army Combatives Program (MACP) and the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP).
I do not ask which is better than the other.
1. What are the main differences
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each?
3. What is the situation is more a function of MACP and in what situation would be more a function of other MCMAP?
Thank you to answer all the questions above. Have a nice day!
What can I say? I did both.
1 & 2. MCMAP teaches you to strike first FRO m standing, and made its way into the sockets. Army begins with earthing and hope your partner has won his battle to help you. MCMAP also stressed not to give anything (weapons, position, soil), while the military can learn to start fighting for the land.
Both could be used in any situation, but I prefer to fight standing.
They say 9 outta 10 fights end up on the ground for the army teaches you from the main base for the Marines i donno. Report Abuse
Oh boy, another question which is better.
I personally think omlette Air Force chow hall to the position command is better, no onions and they are in order! (Yeah Grounds, 1990 Aberdeen Proving, Air Force vs. Navy chow hall hunger, no contest).

the best system is one that you learn and practice and control. And now .. the struggle continues generally to all those who want the most. Heart and determination, coupled with flexibility strength and endurance, in fact a mortal combat. work on these issues and never give up and it wont what fighting technique you choose
the winner from all sides to fight against the hand which is Buddy comes first with a pistol-Matt Larsen (if you do not know who it is your not a real soldier)
