UFC 90, which is your choice to win? I did pretty well with my picks 89, but I feel that these fights will be a little harder to call, but I'm going.
Silva vs Cote: Silva by KO. Cote said he would try to exploit the weaknesses of Silva, but if he tries to do it standing, I think he will, he will get-barred.
Thiago Alves vs. Josh Koscheck: I am taking Alves by submission, but I think this fight will be the closest to the main map. If Koscheck can drag it to a decision, much like what happened when Josh Joslin beat, I think it will take. But Alves is much better than Joslin, of course.
Sean Sherk vs. Tyson Griffin: Sherk by unanimous decision.
Gray Maynard vs. Rich Clementi: I'll bet on Gray Maynard. I know that "No Love" has much, much more experience, but Gray did well in his first 6 fights and I'm looking a bit shocked about it.
Fabricio Werdum vs. Junior dos Santos: Werdum by submission. He beat Alistair Ovareem and beaten Gonzaga twice, I really do not lose to Santos. It must be the place of the fight against Couture Lesnar.
Sean Sherk vs. Tyson Griffin:
Silva
Dos Santos
Alves
Sherk
Maynard
Winners = Silva, Koscheck, Griffin (hard to call), Maynard, Werdum.
Silva certainly no doubt. Nobody in the league at this stage to 185. It would be foolish for Cote to make a fight with Silva. Unfortunately, it is the only thing that Cote is good.
I would choose based on Koscheck's wrestling and ground game, but the strength Alves may be the difference.
Shark muscles! He is more experienced and his struggle is far better.
Rich Clementi. I think he is underestimated. Is it better than what people say.
Verdum. Just better. And you're right he thinks it would be the end of a presentation.
Silva by submission I think Cote will try and exploit Silva on the ground, but found out otherwise than Ca´te probably knows he can not stand with Silva.
I agree Alves by submission, he improved his views on defense and running game and Koscheck is just a **** talker and get outwrestled by the largest Alves.
Sherk will win by unanimous decision
Clementi will win
Werdum wins by strikes.
Silva vs Cote: Silva is the favorite long shot. Cote has a chance to win this fight if he presses Silva, avoid melee and back against the cage that nobody has done before. But Silva is too well rounded and Cote did not fight all lawful combatants in 185, so Silva has more experience and skills. I would go with Silva in this one.
Koscheck vs Alves: I love this fight. This should have been the main event. Dana said Alves was taken by the defense, but he defend against that? He did against Matt Hughes, but in this fight, his view of the bottom were much slower and less explosive compared to his title fights. Alves has excellent Muay Thai skills, but Koscheck improve kickboxing and Koscheck is much better balanced. Koscheck needs to accelerate and use a large number of intelligent strategies to avoid Clicnh and get a hold of Nice down. If Josh Koscheck Diego Sanchez and Chris Lytle fight presents itself, I vote Koscheck in this one.
Gray Maynard vs. Rich Clementi Maynard Gray. Rich has the experience, but trains with the Gray Team Couture and much better training partners from Clementi and constantly improving every fight and keep impressed especially against Frankie Edgar.
Fabricio Werdum vs Junior Dos Santos: I will vote for Werdum. I'm not familiar with Dos Santos and Werdum face more difficult competition on pride.
Shean Sherk vs. Tyson Griffin: The two wrestlers that means it is a good stand in the war. Sherk had a bit o.
