Shi Yan Lu, born in 1970, a 34th Generation Shaolin Monk Lin Qing Hua, his real name, was born on 1 January 1970 in Tan Cheng, in the province of Shan Dong. He is a member of a family well known in martial arts. He began practicing with his father when he was a child. Like many others, the movie Shao Lin Si (Shaolin Temple) impressed many. His father decided to take him to Shaolin Temple to learn some techniques of Shaolin Gong Fu but destiny of young Qing Hua was also devoted to Buddhism.
At fifteen, his love for martial arts became a passion for Shaolin and he was admitted to the monastery as a disciple. He studied Buddhism and martial arts techniques of Shaolin Gong Fu for three years and officially became a disciple of Master Shi Yong Xin. In 1988, he officially became a monk and was named Lu Yan Shi Buddhist addition, he specializes, among others, in Wu Xing Quan, Da Hong Quan, Chun Qiu Dao and Tie Bu Shan (iron shirt Qi Gong). He also participated in the drafting of the secret books of Shaolin.
Master Shi Yan Lu has been invited several times to perform and teach in several countries in Asia, Europe and America. In 1998, he won the gold medal at the international Wushu meeting in Toronto, Canada. For several years he was assistant to his Shifu, Master Shi Yong Xin. In 2003, his Shifu has officially named Master Instructor of warrior monks of Shaolin (Wu Seng), the highest honor for a Shaolin monk. He is the director of schools outside the Temple (there are only three). He wants the uniform teaching of Shaolin Gong Fu with a formal ranking system created and authorized by the Shaolin Temple, but not yet.
