Kickboxing Gear, Help? Hay
I recently signed up for kickboxing, and we are required to wear shorts mu-thai. but my question is what should i wear during training under my shorts, as I should wear a cup or a bracelet. etc..
Could you please be a little specific and if you could please do not Recommended.
best answer gets 10 points.
thank you heaps.
If I were you I would not wear something, the reason being is it, when you find yourself in a street fight you do not protect your balls.
Example, you are training for a year with a cup, the next day you find yourself in a street fight, you get used to not protect your balls because of having to allocate time during practice.
After all, I think you have taken boxing to learn to defend your self in a street fight.
you have to practice French boxing as close as a street fight situation, in terms of wearing a cup.
If you Wona learn more about street fighting, you can visit http://www.howtowinastreetfight.com it will give you a better idea
I took the American and Thai-Mu .... I wore nothing but a jock strap .. A cup is not so much hinder your ability to kick and use your knees, but then put your leg back down or backwards if you have a cup of prepared to say with a pinch of time time ..
I wear a cup. you need something that will protect you there. Talk to your coach and ask them what they would recommend
You certainly need a cup. The ones you buy at Wal Mart or a department store are not good for kicks.
Try to get a martial art. Shock Doctor is probably the best you could get a big sporting goods store.
Personally, I wear spandex a doctor with a built in shock cup. But when it is dirty, I wear a bracelet style with spandex under armor on him.

When I used to compete, I wore a belt and shorts. But as for practice, wear a cup. You may want to have children one day.
