Topic. I've really been looking around, but the vast majority of schools I've seen are largely made up of nonsense. Thank you in advance.

A little too vague. You should ask yourself: What martial art exactly are you looking for? MMA, BBJ, judo, muay thai, karate, kung fu, tai chi, aikido, judo, jiu-jitsu, iaido, kenjutsu, Krav Maga, Savate, kempo, taijutsu / ninjutsu, capoeira, kobudo, or kick boxing? There are so many choices, I would take the time to read about the different martial arts, and decide that you want. Once you arrive at that conclusion, go online or ask around if you can get closer than the martial art for you. If you can not come back here and ask you where you can find this particular art. What a coincidence! I live in Yonkers and I am the American Center for Chinese Studies is February 1 in Croton on Hudson, Westchester is a bit much. It is the best center of Kung Fu on the east coast, Grandmaster Frank Demaria is the adopted son of Chang Tung Sheng one of the largest practioneers jiao shui. The site is kungfu.org

I know for a fact all the dojos there is no nonsense, because my O Sensei used to form hard not we fat from there. first look for good sense and check his lineage, the important thing. trust me.
