Women's Boxing Gear

I'm just a beginner, 53kg fairly small, 5 "8. I'm looking to buy a pink Everlast boxing.
Does anyone know if they are designed for women or other brands that are?
Do I need a lightweight bag? This is just to play with at home right now but as I get better, I'll be at home training frequently.
Also, can I wear mittens in a spar?

Do not skimp on quality when buying gear. Skip the gloves and get the right hand envelope. This prevents the small bones in your hands together and minimizes the risk of breakage. The rose is beautiful, but going to a place like Everlast ensure that you are getting quality equipment. Cheap stuff leads to injuries! I do not think there are all trademarks specifcally designed for women. If you're just "Play at home" do not buy a bag at the moment. If you find incorrect technqiues on the bag, you can hurt yourself or learn bad habits that are really difficult to overcome. Learn some shadowboxing first or go to your local boxing club. Many people just let the train for the year. You do not need to go competitive. Once you learn a few moves, then get a bag for home. Try several different weights. Personally, I prefer a heavier one because you get stronger, the heaviest bag from tipping around as much. Good luck! Oh, by the way, ladies and that competition should wear a jock strap "but it is designed for the female body. This is known as a protector of women and yes, it's icky and terribly ease!

Consult your sports store. I recommend Sports Authority. They do all sorts of boxing equipment rose. It is best to use gloves when in fact most, sparring gloves and little training on a speed bag or punching bag. In this way, your training partner was not injured. An incredible thing to be a female boxer is that you do not have to buy a jock strap.
